Resource Allocation for the Mixture of Periodic and Aperiodic Machine Users Under Latency Constraints
Abstract
This paper studies the method of resource allocation for the coexistence of periodic and aperiodic machine users under the latency constraints, which belongs to the scenario of ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC). A semi persistent resource allocation framework under periodic user latency constraint is proposed, the corresponding mathematical model is derived, including feasibility conditions, upper bound on the latency for periodic users, latency probabilities for aperiodic users based on the stochastic network calculus theory, and the procedure of determining key parameters of the framework is provided. Numerical examples are reported to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
