Abstract

Advances and Knowledge GapRheumatologic diagnosis is complex, requiring detailed history, examination findings, serologic markers, and advanced imaging, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).In chronic inflammatory rheumatic diseases, such as axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA), early diagnosis within the so-called "window of opportunity" was crucial to optimizing long-term functional outcomes, underscoring the necessity for high-quality referral documentation to support efficient care pathways [1].
