Abstract
Aims and scopeZoologica Scripta publishes empirical, theoretical, and methodological papers, review articles and debate comments and replies dealing with zoological diversity and systematics.Preference will be given to studies in phylogeny, biogeography, evolutionary aspects based on comparative anatomy and morphology, molecular biology and palaeontology.The journal will also consider papers that are essentially descriptive provided that the fi ndings are discussed in a wider systematic or phylogenetic context.
