Abstract

In this paper, we investigate identification of incoherent spectra by using a clock-scanned sampling heterodyne. The system is designed for monitoring optical spectra in high resolution at high speed, which is based on heterodyne detection of optical signals. Previously, we have demonstrated identification of spectra, separating spurious components that appear in the downconversion process. In this paper, we investigate detection of incoherent signals using the technique.
