Research on the influence of light source distribution on heart rate parameters detection technology from video of human face
Abstract
The non-contact heart rate parameter extraction technology based on face video is a heart rate detection method with high comfort, low intrusiveness, easy promotion and suitable for telemedicine. In this paper, two kinds of experiments are designed, light source distribution direction and active illumination, to study the influence of light source distribution on the heart rate detection accuracy of face video. The light source distribution direction includes the front, positive and rear three light source directions and their different combinations, and the active light source includes single light source and double light source and its light intensity change. The results show that compared with the influence of light intensity on heart rate detection accuracy, the illumination uniformity of face faces has a more obvious effect on heart rate detection accuracy. When the light intensity is too large, it will cause face reflection, which will affect the measurement accuracy. The conclusion obtained in this paper provides a reference for the applicable conditions of non-contact heart rate parameter extraction technology based on face video.
