Abstract

Polarization spectral imaging technology, with its unique ability to simultaneously capture target polarization, spectral, and image information, has been widely applied in the fields of photoelectric detection, reconnaissance, classification, and identification. This paper presents the design and development of a wide-band polarization multispectral imaging system. Based on the channel modulation interference images formed by the dynamic mechanical movement of a wedge plate, the system enables the simultaneous acquisition of target polarization, spectral, and image information. Additionally, a dedicated data image acquisition and processing system was developed to achieve the processing, transmission, and accurate display of Stokes full polarization, spectral, and image information.
