Abstract

In response to the urgent need for accurate evaluation of enemy radar performance in electronic warfare, research has been conducted on the inversion of airborne fire control radar range resolution based on radar countermeasure reconnaissance measurement parameters. Focusing on three typical signal forms: conventional rectangular pulse, linear frequency modulation (LFM) signal, and binary phase coding (BPSK) signal, quantitative models were derived for their distance resolution and radar technical parameters. A simulation platform was constructed to simulate the inversion process under incomplete reconnaissance information by setting both detectable and non-detectable assumed parameters. The simulation results show that for conventional pulse and LFM signals, the distance resolution inversion model has high accuracy under the premise of knowing the basic signal system; For BPSK signals, the inversion accuracy heavily relies on prior information about the encoding type. The feasibility of inverting key performance indicators of enemy radar under electronic warfare conditions was demonstrated, and the crucial role of intelligence support in successful inversion was pointed out.
