Abstract

In order to accurately acquire dynamic radar scattering characteristic data of drone swarm targets, this paper proposes a dynamic radar cross section (RCS) testing method based on drone swarms. Firstly, this paper designs test scenarios from test factors such as flight distance, flight altitude, distance resolution, and angular resolution. Then, a dynamic RCS testing method for unmanned drone swarms is proposed, which includes background noise measurement, K-value calibration, and RCS measurement. Finally, the formation and flight path of the drone swarms are designed. Through data processing and analysis methods such as flight path segmentation, calculation of the line-of-sight angle, and secondary sampling of RCS data, the results of RCS variation with the line-of-sight angle are presented and analyzed.
