Abstract

The management of subway vehicle parts distribution is a critical aspect of the subway vehicle manufacturing process. Traditional distribution models often suffer from inefficiencies, high costs, and slow response times. To enhance the efficiency of parts distribution, reduce costs, and quickly respond to production demands, this study proposes a multi-objective optimization model based on the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. The model aims to maximize distribution efficiency, minimize distribution costs, and maximize customer satisfaction. The PSO algorithm is employed to solve the model, and its effectiveness is validated through case studies. The results demonstrate that the proposed model significantly improves distribution efficiency (from 34.23% to 76.89%), reduces distribution costs (from 38,121 CNY to 24,563 CNY), and enhances customer satisfaction (from 60.78% to 81.25%). This research provides an effective optimization solution for parts distribution management in subway vehicle manufacturing enterprises, offering substantial practical value.
