Design of a high-efficiency wideband mode-converting transmitarray antenna based on receiver-transmitter surface
Abstract
This paper proposes a high-efficiency, wideband mode-converting transmitarray antenna (MCTA) comprising a receiver-transmitter surface (RTS) integrated with a TM01-mode conical horn feed. The RTS achieves TM01-CP mode conversion through strategically arranged array elements. Simulation results demonstrate a gain of 28.6 dBi with 68.9% aperture efficiency at 13.0 GHz, along with a 24.8% 1-dB gain bandwidth.
