Abstract

With the development of information technology, digital construction is gradually becoming widespread. Currently, almost all major airport expansion and renovation projects in China involve digital construction. Digital monitoring equipment is primarily used to assist mechanical operators during construction; therefore, it is inevitably influenced by the operators' methods. Issues like forgetting to turn on the device or not selecting the area to be constructed can lead to unrecorded or incomplete data. Besides human factors, monitoring equipment often consists of complex hardware, software, and communication systems. Factors such as potential hardware damage, software vulnerabilities, and unstable communication signals are closely related to the monitoring results. Consequently, whether digital construction monitoring methods can achieve the expected results and effectively assist on-site construction and management becomes a crucial question. This paper takes actual construction areas at an airport site as the research object, analyzes the digital construction monitoring methods for dynamic compaction and vibration roller compaction, and explores their ability to meet practical application requirements.
