Abstract

In the application test of ultrasonic nondestructive testing in automobile resistance spot welding inspection, ultrasonic Ascan and C-scan are used to carry out ultrasonic nondestructive testing on automobile resistance spot welding joints respectively, and the signal differences between ultrasonic A-scan and C-scan imaging corresponding to various types of spot welding defects are analyzed, and compared with the actual metallographic inspection results of solder joints. The results show that as long as the signal characteristics differences between ultrasonic A-scan and C-scan are mastered, spot welding defects can be effectively judged, and ultrasonic C-scan has more intuitive and accurate advantages in actual operation and judgment.
