Abstract

Aiming at unmanned mining in open-pit mines, an architecture for the unmanned construction system based on intelligent engineering machines is proposed. The all viewpoint, operational viewpoint and systems viewpoint are proposed for the unmanned construction systems. On this basis, the architecture of unmanned construction systems for open-pit mines is established. The key technologies of intelligent engineering machines include six major fields, such as traditional hardware, wire-controlled hardware, electronic and electrical platforms, foundational software, application software, and cloud services. The proposed architecture sets a guidance for unmanned construction, offering a scalable and flexible solution that can be adapted to various construction scenarios, paving the way for future advancements in the field.
