Research on evaluation of expressway operation status based on vehicle trajectory traceability

The evaluation of the operational status of highway traffic is an important foundation for highway network planning and related research work. Based on the data of expressway toll collection and ETC(Electronic Toll Collection) gantry, we propose an evaluation method and index system for the operation status of expressways from a planning perspective through vehicle trajectory traceability, and conduct a case analysis. The research results have strong application and promotion value and can provide important support and reference for related research work such as highway planning.
