Abstract

The surface temperature of the land plays a significant role in the Earth's ecological environment. After the global entry into the industrialization era, the surface temperature has shown an upward trend, and the urban heat island effect is a reaction to the change in surface temperature. By using remote sensing technology to invert the surface temperature and through the processing of the atmospheric correction method, images and trends of the surface temperature changes in Daguokou District, Chongqing from 2001 to 2023 were obtained. The results show that during the research period, the areas of the moderate-temperature zone, sub-high-temperature zone and high-temperature zone in Daguotou District accounted for approximately 80%, while the areas of the three low-temperature zones were very low. With the country's increasing emphasis on ecological environment, urban development now takes into account the impact on the environment. The inversion results of surface temperature from this technology can provide reference for urban construction.
