Research on rapid generation of three-dimensional reinforcement design models
Abstract
BIM technology plays a crucial role in the design of reinforced concrete structures, providing precise assistance in rebar placement, thereby enhancing project quality and reliability. However, existing commercial software such as Catia and Revit is expensive, complex to use, requires secondary development, and lacks open-source availability. To address these issues, this paper proposes a method based on the open-source OpenCASCADE geometric kernel framework for assisting in the design of 3D rebar models, focusing specifically on the rapid design of 3D reinforcement for complex concrete structures. This method supports general 3D models, is easy to extend, and allows for autonomous control. Experimental results have demonstrated the feasibility and effectiveness of this approach, fully leveraging the advantages of BIM technology. It can be applied to the 3D rebar design of various complex concrete models, reducing design costs, improving design efficiency, and offering significant practical value.
