Abstract

To achieve lightweight design for conformal antennas on wings and integrated antennas/antenna radome, which are structural-functional integrated composite load-bearing ribs, this paper proposes a structural design method for typical composite load-bearing ribs and employs topology optimization to achieve lightweight design for the load-bearing rib structure. The research results indicate that the proposed structural-functional integrated composite load-bearing rib structure can meet the structural load requirements under flight aerodynamic loads and antenna installation requirements. Additionally, through a topology optimization method based on the finite element method, a weight reduction of over 35% in the load-bearing rib design is achieved. The proposed design and optimization method for composite loadbearing ribs holds significant engineering reference value for the structural-functional integrated design of primary load-bearing structures in airborne systems.
