AHP-based safety assessment for UHV transmission lines
Abstract
As UHV transmission technology is widely deployed, the safety of UHV lines has attracted increasing attention. This paper proposes a safety-assessment model based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). First, a three-level index system—target, criterion and indicator layers—is constructed that fully covers line condition, operating environment, operation & maintenance management, and emergency response capability. Next, AHP is employed to assign weights to each index, with consistency tests performed to ensure the rationality of every judgement matrix. Finally, study results indicate that the proposed approach can effectively identify weak links for safe operation and risk prevention of UHV transmission systems.
