Quartz fiber Fabry-Pérot (F-P) explosive static pressure sensor
Abstract
A non-intrinsic fiber Fabry-Pérot (F-P) explosive static pressure sensor is designed in this paper. An Interferometric Light-Emitting Fiber Element (ILFE) based on a hollow quartz glass capillary is proposed, packaged with a planar circular thin plate structure, and statically demodulated using a three-wavelength method. Static pressure loading tests (0-50MPa) show that the sensor has excellent linearity (fitting correlation coefficient R²=0.9958), a sensitivity of 3.1755 rad/MPa, and a full-scale linearity error of 3.64%. The planar circular thin plate packaging structure and hollow quartz capillary-based F-P cavity improve the sensor’s stability and resistance to extreme environments, making it suitable for static pressure measurement in explosive scenarios. Dynamic shock wave testing will be conducted in future work to expand its application in dynamic parameter monitoring.
