Abstract

Based on the environment of a marine diesel engine assembly workshop, an optimized method for AGV path planning is proposed, aimed at improving material delivery efficiency and punctuality. The production environment in the assembly workshop is complex, involving various customized assembly tasks, with punctuality of material delivery and transportation costs being key issues. To address this, a hybrid optimization model combining genetic algorithms and tabu search is constructed based on the Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows (VRPTW). This model considers constraints such as AGV transportation capacity, punctuality, and production schedules, with the objectives of minimizing transportation costs and maximizing delivery punctuality. Simulations using the Solomon dataset and comparisons with other methods validate the superiority of the proposed approach in terms of punctuality and distance cost. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method effectively enhances the optimization of path planning and is applicable to AGV path planning in the marine diesel engine assembly environment.
