Abstract

To optimize production efficiency and on-time delivery in prefabricated construction, the study addresses parallel machine scheduling in production workshops while incorporating constraints including worker shift schedules, zero-buffer limitations, and process dependencies. A multi-objective optimization model is established with dual goals of minimizing makes pan and reducing machine load imbalance rate. An Improved Artificial Bee Colony algorithm is designed to solve the model, effectively arranging production sequences and machine allocations. Numerical experiments using real production data from a concrete precast plant demonstrate the algorithm's superior performance
