Abstract

Nuclear emergency exercises are an effective way for nuclear power plant emergency organizations to maintain and continuously improve their nuclear accident emergency response capabilities. In order to ensure the effectiveness of emergency exercises, it is necessary to develop a nuclear accident emergency exercise scenario library. The design of the HPR1000 nuclear power unit and the accident management guidelines were studied, the accident sequence of the HPR1000 nuclear power unit was analyzed, the experience feedback of the operating power plant was drawn, and the representative main accident sequence combination of the HPR1000 nuclear power unit was given. This accident sequence can be used for the design of nuclear accident emergency exercises in nuclear power plants. By classifying each accident, modular and process-based combinations can be formed according to different exercise purposes to form several complete accident sequences that evolve over time. Several branch scenarios that can be used to insert into the main accident sequence are given, and the rationality of inserting branch scenarios is discussed.
