Effects of cement dosage and reactive mineral powder replacement in insitu stabilization of soft soil
Abstract
This study investigates the effects of cement dosage, curing period, and reactive mineral powder replacement rate on the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) of in-situ stabilized soft soil through laboratory tests. The results demonstrate that UCS increases significantly with cement dosage (4%–10%) and curing period (3–28 days), with 28-day strength reaching 1.94 times that of 3-day strength. Partial replacement of cement with reactive mineral powder improves cost effectiveness, but replacement rates exceeding 2% lead to strength reduction. These findings provide insights for optimizing stabilizer formulations in practical in-situ soft soil stabilization projects.
