Abstract

NBR often suffers from aging failure under ocean environment due to high humidity and high UV. The ocean environment was simulated by accelerated aging test. The changes in the mechanical properties and microstructure of the specimens before and after aging were evaluated. The friction behavior of different aged rubber was studied by using the self-developed friction platform. Finally, A simulation model of the typical sealing structure was established based on the experimental research, and the influence of ocean environment on the performance of the typical sealing structure was analyzed.
