Linear-color-transformation-based hue-preserving image enhancement for dichromats
Abstract
Dichromats have difficulty in discriminating certain combinations of colors such as red and green. Some color conversion methods have been proposed to facilitate color discrimination for dichromats. However, these methods have problems that changing the impression of the original images due to significant change in hue, and overleaping displayable area in color space. In this study, the linear color transformation method for dichromats preserving hue and guaranteeing color gamut in RGB color space is proposed.
