Research on partially coherent laser detection model for UAV targets
Abstract
Four-quadrant detectors are extensively used in laser semi-active guidance and precision displacement measurement due to their rapid response and high spatial resolution. With significant advancements in drone technology, detection and identification have become key research priorities. As laser detection targets diversify, surface characteristics significantly impact angle measurement accuracy. Therefore, studying angle fluctuation mechanisms induced by smooth targets like drones and developing effective suppression methods are crucial for enhancing laser guidance system adaptability and multi-scenario reliability. This research establishes an innovative partially coherent echo angle measurement model. Simulation results demonstrate an angle measurement standard deviation of 0.701°. Further analysis reveals a positive correlation between this deviation and the product of echo coherence ratio and fully coherent echo standard deviation, physically explaining how reception distance affects measurement accuracy. The model provides a theoretical foundation for advancing laser semi-active guidance and UAV photoelectric detection technologies.
