Study on rapid method for thermal oxidation stability of heat transfer fluids under different pressure conditions
Abstract
As a heat transfer medium, thermal oxidation and stability is an important index, which affects the service life of organic heat carrier, the stability of system operation and the safety and efficiency of production., By analyzing the stability of thermal oxidation in thermal oil products. By study the effect of different pressure conditions on the stability of small organic heat carriers. At the same time, according to the existing standards of thermal oxidation stability detection of organic heat carrier, there are disadvantages in the detection of organic heat carrier, such as large sample volume, high heating temperature, long heating time, poor experimental repeatability, and great influence by the experimental environment, and the oil and steam produced will pollute the environment. By optimizing the experimental setup, the thermal oxidation stability changes of organic heat carrier samples under conditions where sample size, heating temperature and pressure reduction remained constant after heating were investigated. By adjusting the pressure parameters, we found that the oxidative stability index of the organic heat carrier was the closest to the current standard test results when the pressure was maintained at 500 MPa and the pressure dropped at 20%.
