Abstract

With the deep integration of optical perception technology and photonic computing in the field of education, traditional teaching models face challenges such as single-dimensional data collection and low analysis efficiency. This paper aims to construct a student portrait model based on optical behavior perception and photonic computing. Through multimodal optical data capture and high-speed computing, it addresses the issues of inaccurate extraction of student behavior characteristics and insufficient real-time portrait construction, providing more efficient technical support for smart education. Experimental results show that the intervention of the optical behavior perception system has increased the effective gaze duration of students by 22% and the frequency of gesture interaction by 40%. Photonic computing has reduced the time consumption of portrait clustering from 3.2 seconds in traditional algorithms to 0.8 seconds, with an accuracy improvement of 15%. There are significant differences in optical characteristics among three types of student portraits: the model-setting type has a gaze stability of ⪆85%, while the potential type shows an increased attention dispersion rate of 50% during color temperature fluctuations. Through adaptive regulation of the optical environment, the test group's performance improved by 18.4 points (p⪅0.01), significantly outperforming the traditional smart teaching group. This study achieves high-precision real-time analysis of student behavior data through collaborative innovation of optical perception and photonic computing, providing a scalable technical paradigm for computer-assisted education. In the future, further exploration can be conducted on the integration of optical neural networks and quantum computing, driving educational modeling towards ultra-low latency and high concurrency, and providing new ideas for the interdisciplinary application of smart education systems.
