Microservices-based implementation of a multiprotocol tile service
Abstract
This paper proposes a microservice based multi protocol tile service system to address the issues of dispersed geographic information acquisition, inconsistent standards, and low data access efficiency in command training and simulated combat simulations. The system processes satellite image data and terrain elevation data into tile form and distributes them through WMTS and TMS standardized services to realize the unification of geographic information of command posts and simulation units. The system adopts a centralized and service-oriented architecture, introducing Redis cache at the API gateway layer and building a quadtree cache based on tile pyramid features at the WMTS/TMS service layer to achieve efficient data indexing and fast access. Experiments and applications show that the architecture can stably support the geographic information call of GIS platform, meet the unified service demand for spatial data under multi-standard and multi-business scenarios, and provide technical support for the construction of a centralized, serviced, and on-demand supply geospatial information platform.
