Abstract

Extracurricular sports activities in universities serve as a crucial platform for supplementing in-class physical exercise and achieving educational objectives. Based on modern information technologies, including mobile internet, big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things, this study designs an intelligent management platform for university extracurricular sports activities. It constructs a framework for the smart management platform of university extracurricular sports activities, and experimentally validates the impact of this platform on university students' physical health. The results indicate that intelligent management of extracurricular sports activities can significantly improve university students' BMI scores and physical fitness test results, enhance their exercise behavior habits, and elevate their overall physical health status. This research provides an operational framework and empirical support for the intelligent transformation of physical education in universities in the new era, and offers practical reference significance for developing strategies to improve university students' physical health.
