Research on the purification of asphalt fume exhaust gas by supergravity field
Abstract
During the heating process of asphalt, a large amount of asphalt fume particles is produced. In order to overcome the shortcomings of traditional filtration methods such as easy clogging of filter materials, low purification rate of the water washing method in the spray tower, and potential fire hazards in the electrostatic method, this paper conducts research on the purification of asphalt fume particles by the rotary supergravity machine. The research finds that the removal rate of asphalt fume particulate matter increases with the increase of rotational speed, and the increase is significant with the increase of rotational speed in the low-rotational speed stage. During the high-speed stage, the growth rate slows down as the rotational speed increases. The removal rate in the water spraying state was significantly higher than that in the nonwater spraying state, and the removal rate of water spraying in the inner cavity was slightly higher than that in the outer cavity. With the increase of the inlet gas flow rate, the removal rate decreases and the residence time is shortened. The removal rate decreases with the increase of the spacing between adjacent peaks of the packing and the edge length of the openings. Under the optimal conditions, the maximum removal rate is 99.2%. The research provides a new technology for the purification of asphalt fume particulate matter, which has environmental protection significance and application value.
