Abstract

In modern special operations, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have become integral to multi-mission integration, with applications spanning a wide range of domains including reconnaissance and surveillance, precision strike operations, communication relay, electronic warfare (jamming and suppression), and battlefield logistics. By leveraging key advantages such as stealth, extended endurance, high operational flexibility, and cost-effectiveness, UAVs have significantly enhanced the capabilities of special forces in intelligence acquisition, precision engagement, communication resilience, and logistical sustainment. Advancements in areas such as "reconnaissance-strike integration," swarm coordination, intelligent electronic warfare, and rapid resupply have not only improved the autonomy and operational unpredictability of special operations but have also introduced substantial asymmetric advantages. Consequently, UAVs are playing a pivotal role in advancing special operations toward greater intelligence, decentralized command structures, and systematic integration.
