Abstract

This article designs and studies CAN bus transceivers. The Controller Area Network (CAN) transceiver, as a key physical layer interface device of the CAN bus system, is responsible for the conversion task between logical signals and differential bus signals. Its performance directly affects the reliability and real-time performance of the communication system. This chip has the following features: it complies with the ISO 11898 physical layer protocol; I/O voltage range supports 3.3V and 5V MCU; Provides two working modes: normal mode and low-power mode; The power terminal has a fault function.
