Abstract

The large-scale deployable components carried by the satellites will cause periodic blocking to solar arrays, leading to the output power loss. Currently, the research on the blocking of solar arrays by larger-scale deployable components mostly focuses on static analysis, lacking full-life-cycle simulation analysis under dynamic working conditions. This paper builds a combined simulation platform based on STK and Matlab, simulating the attitude changes and blocking dynamic processes of satellites in orbit. It quantitatively analyzes the impact of blocking by different components at different times on the output power of solar arrays, providing key support for the assessment of satellite energy security.
