Abstract

During the production process of tobacco shreds, various impurities are easily mixed in. Traditional manual and visual detection methods are inefficient with low detection rates. This paper constructs a near-infrared spectroscopy system for foreign matter detection in tobacco shreds, conducts experimental verification and data analysis on different types of impurities in tobacco shreds, demonstrates the feasibility of applying near-infrared spectral analysis in the field of tobacco shred impurity removal, and proposes a new method for detecting impurities in tobacco shreds.
