Abstract

To scientifically evaluate the effects of different blasting schemes in open-pit mines, this paper first constructs an evaluation index system consisting of three first-level indicators, namely blasting quality, blasting safety and economic benefits, and eight second-level indicators. Referring to relevant national standards and actual situations, each indicator is classified into evaluation grades. By applying combined weighting, the weights of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the entropy weighting method are combined to obtain the comprehensive weights. Subsequently, the TOPSIS method was used for a comprehensive evaluation to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the three schemes. The research results show that Scheme 1 has the best blasting effect, while Scheme 3 performs poorly overall and is consistent with the actual situation. This evaluation system and method can provide a scientific basis for the selection of blasting schemes in open-pit mines.
