Research on multiphysics coupling modeling, model order reduction, and coupling strength quantification of microcomputer systems
Abstract
Addressing the challenge of coordinated heat dissipation and noise control caused by multi-physics coupling in high‑performance microcomputer systems, this paper proposes a quantitative research method based on coupling strength. A partial differential equation control model describing thermal‑flow‑solid‑acoustic coupling is established and reduced to a real‑time solvable state‑space model, enabling a mechanistic representation of multi‑physics coupling strength. Comparative simulations are conducted under three typical operating conditions—traditional cooling priority, multi‑objective coordinated priority, and no optimization control—to quantitatively reveal the variation patterns of coupling strength across different control strategies. The results demonstrate that the proposed multi‑objective coordinated optimization strategy can effectively suppress thermal‑flow and solid‑acoustic coupling strengths through the dynamic matching of fan speed and louver angle, thereby achieving an optimal system‑level balance between heat dissipation performance and noise control.
