Abstract

With the rapid development of 5G technology, network slicing technology, as an important part of 5G, provides the ability to customize network resources on demand, which brings new possibilities for low-latency and high-reliability application scenarios. In this paper, we study the application of 5G slicing technology in low-latency video surveillance systems, and by analyzing the low-latency requirements of video surveillance systems, we explore the shortcomings of traditional network architectures in meeting these requirements. By comparison, this paper focuses on how 5G slicing technology can overcome the bottlenecks of traditional networks to meet the needs of low-latency video surveillance systems. In addition, this paper introduces the specific implementation methods and optimization strategies of 5G slicing technology in video surveillance, and demonstrates the significant advantages of 5G slicing technology in low-latency video surveillance systems through practical application case studies. Finally, this paper summarizes the research results and looks forward to the future application prospects of 5G slicing technology in the field of video surveillance.
