Changes in the Debye length in two-dimensional junction under the influence of external voltage, temperature and light
Abstract
In this paper, we use analytical formulas to derive the change in the Debye length in two-dimensional p-n junctions under the influence of external voltage, temperature, and light. It is shown that in the nondegenerate approximation, the Debye length is exponentially dependent on voltage and inversely proportional to it under the influence of a strong field. The analysis of the Debye length is measured taking into account photogeneration and dissociation of excitons. The obtained results are of great importance for evaluating the efficiency of optoelectronic devices based on MoS2 and WSe2.
