Abstract

ABSTRACT We present the draft genome sequence of a fluconazole-resistant Candidozyma auris isolate obtained from a Peruvian referral hospital. C. auris is an emerging pathogenic yeast of significant public health concern due to its antifungal resistance, particularly in patients with comorbidities.
