Closed genome sequences of clinical Listeria monocytogenes isolates from salmon-associated listeriosis outbreaks
Abstract
ABSTRACT Here, we present the closed genome sequences of nine representative clinical Listeria monocytogenes isolates from nine invasive listeriosis outbreaks in Germany that were associated with contaminated salmon products. More than half of the genomes contained two or more intact prophages.
