Abstract

The work presents a mathematical description and testing of a numerical method for solving gas-dynamics equations (Euler equations). This mathematical method is based on the nonlinear compact polynomial computational method. It should also be noted that, to find the solution to the gas-dynamics equations, a transition was made (in the vicinity of the computational cell $${{\Omega }_{i}}$$ ) in a local curvilinear coordinate system. An initial verification of the numerical method proposed in the work was carried out.
