Abstract
What is "triple strength" Wegovy, and why has the MHRA approved it? Katharine LangGLP-1 agonist injections, although originally developed to treat type 2 diabetes, have changed how we approach obesity. 1 The two main types now in use-semaglutide (Wegovy), produced by Novo Nordisk, and tirzepatide (Mounjaro), produced by Eli Lilly-have been shown in clinical trials to produce substantial weight loss of 15-20% depending on dose, duration, and adherence.
