Chapter 17: Zero-finding library: Lambda expressions
Abstract
In this chapter we develop the basic design of a numerical library for zero-finding as a case study in the use of lambda expressions. The problem of zero-finding is the following: given a function \(f\), find the value of \(x\) that satisfies \begin{align*}\underset{x}{ ?} {: f(x)=0}.\end{align*}
