Chapter 4: Arrays and other containers
Abstract
C++ was not primarily designed for scientific computing, and one place where that is quite clear is that until recently it lacked support for linear algebra array operations. In this chapter we focus on the C++20 span and C++23 mdspan libraries that are essential for implementing linear algebra operations, especially involving multidimensional arrays.
