Abstract

Abstract. We carry out an asymptotic analysis for a Ginzburg–Landau type model for tangent vector fields defined on a cone. The results, in the spirit of [F. Bethuel, H. Brezis, and F. Hélein, Ginzburg-Landau Vortices, Birkhäuser/Springer, Cham, 2017], establish the degree and asymptotic location of vortices, one of which must be situated at the tip of the cone.
