Null geodesics around Kerr black holes surrounded by quintessence
Abstract
This paper is devoted to the analysis of null orbits around a Kerr black hole embedded in quintessence. The structure of the horizons and the corresponding geodesics equations are discussed for allowed ranges of the quintessence parameters. A special attention is given to the effect of quintessential matter on the spherical photon orbits. Our analysis shows major differences compared to the results obtained for the Kerr black hole.
