Radial and angular resonance states of DS meson and its decay properties
Abstract
In this paper, we study the [Formula: see text] meson’s radial and angular resonance states using the relativistic independent quark potential model with scalar and vector components of square root confinement. The model parameters are set phenomenologically, with [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text]GeV, [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text]GeV, and the leading predictions, [Formula: see text] (2.112[Formula: see text]GeV) and [Formula: see text] (1.903[Formula: see text]GeV), are well in accord with PDG results. To explore radial and angular resonance states, we adjust [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text]GeV while keeping “a” remains constant. Our computations, 2[Formula: see text] (2.707[Formula: see text]GeV), 2[Formula: see text] (2.687[Formula: see text]GeV), 3[Formula: see text] (3.336[Formula: see text]GeV), 3[Formula: see text] (3.327[Formula: see text]GeV), 1[Formula: see text] (2.568[Formula: see text]GeV), 1[Formula: see text] (2.535[Formula: see text]GeV), 1[Formula: see text] (2.314[Formula: see text]GeV), 1[Formula: see text] (2.467[Formula: see text]GeV), 2[Formula: see text] (3.098[Formula: see text]GeV), and 1[Formula: see text] (2.866[Formula: see text]GeV), are nearly matching with both experiment and other theoretical results. Further, we calculate the pseudoscalar and vector meson decay constant, magnetic transitions [Formula: see text] transition), non-leptonic, and semileptonic decay widths and branching fractions of [Formula: see text]-meson. The findings are in reasonable accord with Lattice QCD computations, experimental data, and other theoretical projections. The current calculated values of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text], are nearly identical with the PDG and QCDSR values. The predicted magnetic transition aligns well with experimental and other computed theoretical values. The calculated non-leptonic decay widths, like, [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] shows good agreement with experimental values. Furthermore, we figure out the semileptonic decay widths and branching fractions of [Formula: see text]-mesons, such as [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], and shows good agreement with the PDG results. Our findings are consistent with Lattice QCD computations, experimental observations, and other theoretical predictions.
