Abstract

The pattern recognition revolution in Medical Imaging (MI) has helped several fields, including dental diagnostics. Combining Organizational Analytics and Performance Management (OAPM) systems with neural networks has been recognized as a promising research field. The aim of this research is to identify whether the technologies mentioned above can improve and expedite oral healthcare diagnostics. Regarding dental image analysis, Neural Networks (NNs) are perfect for detecting cavities, periodontal diseases, and tooth morphological abnormalities because they can learn complex patterns from data. This paper suggests a new design to address the underutilization of OAPM systems, Convolutional NN (CNN), and Recurrent NN (RNN) in ML. When it comes to quality control and performance monitoring, dental clinics can rely on the OAPM system. It offers a structured method for handling and evaluating data streams. Convolutional neural networks are capable of segmenting and classifying intraoral and dental radiographs. Because of their ability to mimic temporal interactions, RNNs are perfect for tracking the efficacy of treatments or the progression of diseases. A revolutionary network design would be one that can learn from each patient’s specific inputs and characteristics. Diagnostics and care coordination for patients are both enhanced by the state-of-the-art data analytics provided by the OAPM system. Using operational analytics, performance management software, and modern neural networks, dental diagnostic imaging has been transformed. Integrating data from several modalities and using AI-driven decision support systems to provide comprehensive dental treatment is a potential direction for future healthcare research.
