Exact Traveling Wave Solutions of a KdV–SIdV Family
Abstract
In this paper, we derive explicit exact solitary wave solutions and periodic wave solutions for a KdV–SIdV family. By using the method of dynamical systems, under given parameter conditions, we obtain phase portraits of the corresponding traveling wave dynamical system. Corresponding to different level curves, we derive possible exact explicit parametric representations of the smooth periodic wave solutions, solitary wave solutions as well as kink and anti-kink wave solutions.
